Pressure Vessels

"We provide mechanical design, material supply, fabrication and testing services for pressure vessels according to ASME or EN standards."

PRESSURE VESSELS

A pressure vessel is a container designed to hold gases or liquids at a pressure substantially different from the ambient pressure. As these vessels can be dangerous due to the contained pressure, pressure vessel design and fabrication is regulated by international and local codes

Teknokon Makina manufactures pressure vessels that are to be operated in different pressure ranges, serving in industries such as chemical, food and beverage, petrochemical, energy, oil & gas, are carried out in accordance with ASME / ANSI or EN / DIN standards to ensure product quality and process safety.

Pressure vessels made of stainless steel, carbon steel and alloy steel are fabricated in various wall thickness and dimensions, depending on process requirements.

The design, manufacture and testing of vessels are carried out in accordance with the following standards:
  • ASME Sec VIII Div.1
  • AD 2000
  • EN 13445

As an esteemed pressure vessel manufacturer, Teknokon Makina provides ASME-U Stamp & ASME-S Stamp, CE marking and EAC (GOST) certification services for pressure vessels fabricated in accordance with customer specifications.

Teknokon Makina’s design department provides mechanical design for process equipment including code calculations, drafting, and nesting plans. Mechanical design is carried out using well known design software programs such as PV Elite, Visual Vessel Design, Codeware Compress and WinSchell.

If required, FEA analysis is also performed for a wide scope from analysis of lifting lugs or transport saddles to thermal/pressure cycle analysis coupled with fatigue analysis.

We can also provide rubber lining, internal coating, supply and assembly of internals, ladders & platforms, if required.

We can fabricate and deliver process equipment up to 200 tons in single piece from our fabrication plant. For heavier equipment, we perform the final assembly at the port area of the sections that are prefabricated in our fabrication plant.

The fabricated pressure vessels are packaged in accordance with project requirements and the method of shipment to endure the transport conditions until they reach the installation site.
